Competitions and challenges produce results that can be displayed to give long term awareness and involvement. They can be as simple as an art competition, or embracing as the race4time or gogorobot competitions.

The ‘race4 time’, which targets final year students, to design an precise time-recorder will soon be published. Runner ups get prizes and honour of displays in schools, the winners go to the next level and this works its way to an international level.

The challenges can be industrial related with specific aims. For instance to show and encourage the next generation career routes through key industries.

Community and reuse themes, to encourage pride in the community and sustainable ways forward. The Brixham Railway is one such project, so is the ‘What makes you smile when you think of Brixham’ art and poetry project.
