Past technology was formed by innovative and imaginative craft & trade people. This magic is still part and parcel of the technology we have inherited. This makes industrial heritage perfect foundation for projects which are fundamental to crafts, whilst made contemporary to current technology. We undertake projects within industry, public sector, schools, colleges and universities which can be broken down and team integrated or form part of a competition. The achievements are displayed in prominent places, such as community showcases to encourage and entice excitement for the next competition. We encourage ‘invention to market’, especially when it improves safety or has a strong reuse policy. This ranges from leather craft to robotics and relies upon the expertise in the ‘matrix of involvement’.

What adds colour and depths to the lives we lead? Projects do. We need a purpose to wake up for. With modern living this can be overlooked and what was a natural process seems to be eroding away.

The project could be a steam engine, stamp collection, restoration of antiques to the development of a simulator that invokes real emotions.

We are developing a centre to facilitate and encourage involvement and development of projects, which by their very inventive nature un-tap the potential of the future.

Many projects are developed in isolation but part of the joy of the project is the interaction between like minded people. Its thus vital we have such a place.

The potential of projects is that it builds upon inter-personal skills and allows resources to be used effectively. We can facilitate and run projects, if you are an inventor, industry, group of industries or university or college, one way to bind the relationship is with an corporate project. This can be separate to the main commercial focus, to form a team and set of relationships between collaborators, or simply drawing upon specific needs.
